Topcom and Trimble lines not matching
I was told the other day that even on RTK if you create an a-b line on gatekeeper and copied it to a tractor with Trimble steering and a tractor with a Topcon steering system they would not steer on exactly the same line due to the different algorithm that the 2 systems use. Also if you took a a-b line off one screen and transferred it to the other screen they still would not steer on same line.

Can u extract fields from JD6150 command centre to usb stick
Have a 2014 JD6150 with maps and ab lines stored and want to copy them onto a usb stick to then upload them on new JD6155 system? Dealer said they couldn’t do it as the file is corrupted??!

I know nothing about this but to my untrained mind there must be a standard sort of socket to plug into? Or is it different for different makes?

Trimble - trimble comms
For messy reasons, I want to feed gps info from my 750 to 500. I've butchered an old serial mouse cable and shoved it into the back of both units. Difficulty is what comms protocol to use. The only one I can get to work is tsip, but when use this, the 500 switches the 750 from rangepoint to egnos, rp being before the 500's time.
I thought that the slave in these arrangements didn't care how the position info was determined but it's trying to be smart. Tried nmea output on 750, ext...

Ez pilot up the pictures!
Has anyone else had an Trimble ez pilot steering wheel motor go wrong?
It was working hard but doing a good job keeping dead straight drilling maize, so was rattling a bit. Then all of a sudden stopped working!
It will engage but can’t pull itself on line or stay on line.
Happened Thursday night so can’t haven’t been able to speak to anyone on the phone about it.

Agco c3000 guidance
Does anyone in here know much about the agco c3000 GPS system and screen similar to topcon x30? Since several months ago I understand that most systems have needed an update to do with satellites changing? Ours has supposedly been updated yet the date is still wrong and the time, and it appears to be on a version from Oct 2017. Shame it isn't proper topcon like we have in our sprayer as the guys at LH Agro are extremely helpful.

NTRIP and Mobile Internet
I have been looking again at some of the less mainstream offerings such as Fieldbee and I am wondering how close the RTK connection broadcast needs to be based, to allow accurate location adjustments, when received over the Internet?
10km, 100km?? I assume you need the same satellites need to be connected to the GPS Receiver AND the RTK adjustment receiver base?
